Hello Dominica & Welcome Dinner
Arrive at Douglas Charles Airport where your transport driver will be waiting for you. Sit back and enjoy the scenic ride around the north coast on the way to your hotel. Settle in, unpack & explore the surrounding area before you meet your fellow explorers at the welcome dinner later tonight.

Fort Shirley, Horse Back Riding
Learn about the history within the walls of Fort Shirley, an old garrison built in the 18th century where many revolts took place over control of the island and fights for freedom. Leaving Fort Shirley, we will mount our horses and go for a ride in Prince Rupert Bay. Here you will enjoy the warm tropical ocean waters and the peaceful scenic views. A tasty lunch at a locally owned restaurant with beach-front views is next up on our agenda of adventures for today at Douglas Bay. Don’t forget your bathing suit!

Victoria Falls & Rum
Today we visit a local rum distillery and learn how it is made using sustainable practices. We will also gain an understanding of the importance of Sea Turtle Conservation and how this distillery is helping to contribute to that endeavor. Next, as we head over to the eco-Lodge where we will be spending the next 3 nights , well gear up in zip lining equipment and begin the trek to a remote part of the east coast. Dinner will be served around 7pm, so there will be plenty of time to visit Flockey’s waterfall for a nice river swim.

Sari Sari & Sustainability
Start your day with the birds singing all around you and a refreshing morning dip in the river before breakfast. Our adventure starts with a hike to Sari Sari Falls, a 250-foot waterfall located in La Plaine. This hike will take approximately 3 hours to complete. We’ll be hiking along the river so, stop and swim whenever you wish. After Sari Sari, we’ll go for lunch on the beach before zip- lining back to the eco- Lodge. Once back at the lodge, you can join the sustainability discussion led by the award-winning owner of the lodge and discover the best eco-friendly practices for building in the rainforest.

Victoria Falls & Zion Valley
Start the day in the beautiful Zion Valley where our guide will take us to the amazing Victoria Falls. Go for a swim in the river before we head back to our Ital lunch in the rainforest at The Rastarant. After lunch we will enjoy a guided walk through a delightful herbal garden where we will learn about the traditional remedies and medicines provided by the land.

Chocolate Bars & Emerald Pool
Before breakfast, opt to attend the early morning Coconuts in the Forest hike to Three Rivers Falls for a refreshing start to your day!
After our last breakfast at the eco-Lodge, we begin our trip back to Picard. On the way, we’ll go to a chocolate making class while learning a little bit about gin distilling and wood carving in Delice. After, we’ll stop at Emerald Pool for a relaxing soak in the grotto-esque pool.

Bwa Nef, Red Rocks & Cold Soufriere
Start the day with an invigorating 20-minute hike to one of the more secluded yet awe inspiring waterfalls on Dominica, Bwa Nef. Next, we will stop at Red Rocks, an amazing other worldly experience that feels like you just stepped onto Mars! These oxidized geological formations protruding into the ocean also have caves to explore, so make sure not to miss this! After Red Rocks, we’ll take the scenic route around Vielle Case, stopping at Cold Soufriere, Canna Heritage Park, Toucari Bay and lunch at Keepin’ It Real.

Canyoning & Mineral Pools
Today we go to Fond Cani for an exciting canyoning adventure. Discover your inner adventurer far beneath the sunlit canopy of the rainforest. Don’t Worry, canyoning is for any level of experience, even if you have never done it before, you’ll be in good hands with licensed professional canyoning guides. After half a day of canyoning, sit back and relax with a local lunch and a dip in the warm mineral pools that will soothe your muscles after the day’s adventure.

River Tubing, Spannys & Soltan Falls
After Breakfast, experience the rainforest from another viewpoint by gliding down the Pagua River. Get on your inner tube, drink in hand, and let’s go! Don’t forget your waterproof camera! After our tubing experience, we will visit a couple of easy-to-get-to waterfalls including Spanny Falls, Jaco Falls, and Soltan Falls. Decide on your favorite- I’ll tell you mine is Soltan!

Whales, Dolphins & Beaches
Sperm Whales reside off Dominica shores all year long and today you’re going to try to spot at least one. You may also see humpback whales, Pilot Whales & Bottlenose Dolphins just to name a few. Don’t forget the fish! Yellowfin, Marlin, Tarpon – Some very large fish are caught in these waters by local village fisherman. Next up for today we are going to relax at the beach and enjoy the glistening calm Caribbean Sea. Swim, soak up the sun… or both! There will also be two beach bars nearby for refreshments and snacks.

Permaculture, Syndicate & Milton Falls
This morning we are headed to Syndicate nature trail to look for the endemic Sisserou Parrot. They only live on Dominica and there are not very many of them left, so if you find one, you should feel very lucky! Next, we will learn how permaculture helps in sustainable land management and how natural ecosystems guide farming practices. A perfect ending to this very special day will be a tasty lunch at Little Zion restaurant before a short walk to view Milton Falls.

Middleham, TiTou Gorge & Rum
Today we’re going to the Morne Trois Piton National Park which also happens to be a UNESCO World Heritage site. Lush tropical vegetation surrounds you on this invigorating hike to Middleham Falls. This is the tallest waterfall on the island at 270 ft. The hike will take us through dense rainforest and muddy trails so be sure to pack your dirtiest hiking shoes. After the hike, we will enjoy a locally prepared lunch with a bush rum tasting. Next, we’ll explore Ti Tou Gorge and swim in the same location where a scene from Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed. We’ll finish our day in a relaxing warm mineral pool in the village of Wotton Waven, where you can enjoy some of the geothermal gifts Dominica has to offer. It’s a spa day in nature!

Indian River, Portsmouth & Douglas Bay
After breakfast on the beach, we’ll take a rowboat ride up the Indian River to a rainforest Bush Bar. Have a drink, have a snack & soak in the sounds of the rainforest before heading back to town. The rest of the day will be free to explore Portsmouth, browse for souvenirs, try tasty dishes at nearby restaurants, or relax & swim at the beach. Spend your time however you want and enjoy your last day, your way. Later, we will go back to the hotel to get ready for our farewell dinner.
